What impression do you get from the front cover?  What can you infer about the book?
About the front cover of the book it look like that there is going to be a war with a horse and it looks like there is going to be sad bite to it.

Read the blurb on the back.  Does this interest you?  Why/Why not?
I think it well be interesting to me because I liked when we learned about ww1 and I love animals.

Open the book to any page.  Read the page.  Did you find what you read funny, interesting or dull?  Why or why not?
I think it is interesting because it is a sad bite sad and I think this well be my favorite book.
