Today Ds and Lk we have been doing science and writing. We are doing sentence and the sentence are: 
Very short sentence.
W- start sentence.
Adverb sentence.

We had to wait for 2 weeks for the biltong  to be readily and sadly, the biltong was really salty.

Very Short Sentence: The biltong tasted very salty.

W-Start: We had to wait 2 weeks for the seed to sprout.

Adverb Start: The seedling was slowly growing.

Who are we hurumanu.

This past week we have been learning about the Maori culture and we had to watch the video and had to fell out work sheet.

The Maori came to from hawaki and they came on wake, they brought rats, dogs, kumara, crops, paper mulberry.

The Maori find a land and called it Aotearoa was name after the long white cloud. The moriori were pacifists and they came from Aotearoa, you can tall Maori and moriori apart by they language and DNA.
The moa are extinct by rats and dogs that the maori brought to NZ, the Maori mostly say in the north land because it was to cold in the south land to grow there crops.

CARR Values

This past week we have been doing HR or Home Room. We had to pick one of the school values and create a video or DLO about the Values. My group chose Resilience in class and chose to make a biteable . Here is my groups work.

Life on Mars.

In the hurumanu we have been watching a movie for the past week and the movie is called The Martian. We had to fill out a sheet about the movie. There were question that we had to answer on the work sheet. 

Before we watch the movie we had to wright down what we think was going to happen. What I wright down was that I think that a man try to live on mars and try to get food. 

In the movie the characters were  
Matt Damon he played Mark watney,
 Chiwetel Ejiofor he played Vincent Kapoor, 
Jessica Chastain she played Melissa Lewis, 
Kate Mara she played Beth Johanssen,
 Sebastian Stan he player Chris Beck.

The main part in the movie is he get food by making a fram in his home by goring potatoes, and he make a response to earth. NASA told the crew and said that he was alive they make it back to earth with mark.
