Simple to complex sentences

Today we have been working on Simple to complex sentences for practising for wright assessment on Wednesdays to help improve our writing so the sentences are not boring.

Simple to complex sentences 

The dog ate.
The dog ate sadly. 
On Thursday the dog ate sadly.
On Thursday the dog ate outside on the grass sadly.
 On Thursday the dog ate outside on the grass in the ice cold sadly.
